Scottish Sensory Awards 2017 – Ceremony Cancelled

Regrettably this year there were many fewer nominations for the awards than last year. Last year we invited 3 short listed nominations in each category to the awards ceremony, when the winners in each category were announced. This year the number of nominations has been such that it has not proved possible to generate short lists for the various categories. Additionally some nominations were very brief and did not really contain sufficient information to allow a judgement to be made on the merit of these nominations.

We have therefore unfortunately had to take the decision to cancel the awards ceremony.

We hope that we will be able to recognise some of the work that was presented in nominations that we did receive, and will update again once we have firmed up our plans in this regard.

We will think about how best to continue the Scottish Sensory awards in future, perhaps looking at something every two years, instead of annually.
